We are working hard to line up a place to still have spinning on the third Thursday of the month; it may or may not be the same place we have Stitch 'n' Bitch on Sundays - please stick with us as we work on this, and keep checking back here because we will post when we find a place!

Spinning Wheel Sale!

In preparation for the upcoming spinning class, we are trying to move some of our spinning wheels! You lucky ducks are looking at 20% off all of the wheels that we currently have in stock (No other discount applies, and we cannot ship them.). We currently have two Louet S10's, a Louet S51, a Louet Julia (My personal favorite!) and an Ashford Traveler (That one is 25% off!). These wheels have all been used for classes in the past and are ever so slightly used. So if you've been looking or thinking about a wheel, now is the time to act! You have until January 26th to take us up on this limited time offer.


p.s. The wheels will be taking a little vacation on January 8th and 9th, but other than those two days they will be available for you to take a little spin on them at the shop.

Introducing... Kromski!

In addition to the Louet and Ashford wheels and supplies that we already carry, we can now also get you anything in the Kromski family that you want! And for those of you (like me) who already have Kromski wheels (that's my five-year-old lighter colored one on the right, there) we can also get "extras"... neeed a Lazy Kate? Nostepinne? Jumbo flyer? Extra bobbins? Niddy-noddy? Just give us a shout, we'd be happy to order anything we don't currently have in stock!

Calling All Spinners!

Now that Sharon has started spindling, she's getting lonely on those two days of the month that Hanks has set aside for spinners! The first Monday of each month (from 11am to 1pm) and the third Thursday (from 5pm to 7pm) are when the spinners gather at the shop to sit, spin, chat, and have a cuppa. Please consider joining us this Monday, February 2nd!

Kundert Spindles

We have recently started carrying Kundert drop spindles-- usually they sell out so quickly I can't get a photo of them! This time I wised up and took a picture right out of the box.



While I admit to preferring a wheel over a drop spindle, these are so beautiful that even I want them all!

These are part of our in-store only items, which means that they are not for sale up on our website. However, if you're not local and are interested in finding out more about them, please give us a call at the shop (352.338.7222) and we'll be happy to tell you what we have in stock and arrange for shipping.

No fiber in our diets this week

We're sorry if this inconveniences anyone, but all of our spinning fiber (and everything for needle-felting) has gone to Destin for the week, to play at the January Spin-in. Anything that doesn’t decide to stay at the beach will return on Sunday, January 25th!
