The Civil War is coming to Hanks!
On Saturday, March 15th, from about noon(ish) to four(ish), we will have a wonderful group of Civil War Reenactors (The Golden Teacup Society) at the shop. They will be spinning, knitting, and of course dressed in the appropriate time attire. We can’t wait for it, and hope that you come by to see them and say hello. They’re a wonderful group of people and will be happy to talk to you about what they do!

Lorena, Sharon and Ginger,
I want to tell you what a WONDERFUL time I (all of us did, but this is just from me) had today. It was so great to spend the day with like-minded individuals. I really, really enjoyed myself. Thank you so very much for having us in. I can't wait to get started on the "shell" I will make from the hufflepuff yarn. This will be the first actual "wearable" item I've made - clothing wise, aside from socks.
