Discussion of the Month

Do you typically make the latest and greatest patterns from magazines and books? Or do you plan your queue out so far in advance that if you find a great pattern tomorrow it's another two years before you actually get around to making it?

My queue is filled so by the time I get to the end, I should be about 90. When I see a great pattern, unless it is for a gift, I will stick it in the "someday I will make this" pile.

No. And no.

Generally speaking, I knit what I have. Or, knit what I am currently loving. Neither of which has much input from the latest and greatest, unless it was from last year or something.

The rest of my life is too organized. This is my "fly by the seat of my pants" area. Though, I don't think I can say it is spontaneous since I've made three Hederas in a row now...

I guess you could call me amadextrious. I do like to knit something if i find it in a magazine and just love it and i also have a folder with all kinds of projects on the ready.

I am, however, very weird about how many things i have started at once. I like to start something and follow it through til the end. Example, right now i have 2 things on needles and it is killing me, i have got to finish one or the other! My knitting group continously teases me and says "you know you CAN have more than one thing going at a time, you are ALLOWED". Just me though.
